There is an ever changing inventory of vintage quilts here at The American Seam, and you can choose from a wide range of quilt designs and fabric colors.  There's something for everyone!

When we present a quilt for sale on our website, our objective is to provide you with all the details and information you need in order to make an informed decision.  And we always do our best to make lots photos or videos available for each quilt.  If you don't see the view you want, or there's a detail you want to zoom in on, just contact us and tell us what you want to see. Since all sales are final and refunds are not available, we focus on making sure what we know about the quilt is passed along to you.

The quilts we offer typically come from antique and vintage stores, reputable auction houses and the occasional consigment.  We find our quilts in shops that offer high quality merchandise, so we can then pass that confidence on to you and your purchase. 

When we acquire a quilt that we plan to offer for sale, the first thing we do is lay it out completely for a thorough visual inspection.  This is how we plan out what photos to take of the quilt, as well as identify any flaws, holes or tears that will be pointed out to customers.  Most of our quilts are then delicately soaked and then laid flat to dry, so they come to you as fresh and soft as possible.
